1. Who we are

AKOJ ("we", "us", "our") operates Lee Fix and acts as the data controller for personal data processed through the Service.

2. Data we collect and why

  • Account data (name, email, password hash, family name and code, profile icon) — to create your account, identify household members, and provide the Service. Legal basis: performance of contract.
  • Family content (chores, completions, balances, history) — to deliver the core features. Legal basis: performance of contract.
  • Usage and device data (IP address, browser type, timestamps, error logs) — for security, fraud prevention, and improving the product. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
  • Support messages — to respond to you. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
  • Billing data — collected and processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle. We receive a limited record (subscription status, plan, country) needed to grant access. Legal basis: performance of contract.

3. Who we share data with

  • Service providers — hosting, database, authentication, email, and analytics tools acting as our processors under contract.
  • Paddle.com Market Limited, our Merchant of Record, for sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
  • Professional advisers — legal, accounting, and similar, where necessary.
  • Authorities — where required by law or to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside your country. When data leaves the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

5. How long we keep data

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, accounting, and security obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data; to object to certain processing; and to withdraw consent. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We aim to respond to requests within one month.

7. Children

Lee Fix is designed for families. Kid profiles inside a family are created and managed by a parent or guardian, who is responsible for ensuring appropriate consent. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children without a parent's involvement.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging — to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

9. Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies and local storage entries to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies. Where analytics cookies are used, you can manage them via your browser settings.

10. Changes

We may update this notice. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.
